Haast school takes the prize for not only the smallest school joining the Ahi Pepe MothNet team but the most enthusiastic response so far. Haast School caters for children from years 1 to 8, and is located at Hannah's Clearing, 22km south of Haast Township on the West Coast.

At the southern end of the West Coast road Haast school will be using the Te Rauawa Macro Moth Guide.

Te Rauawa - refers to the Gunwales of the waka. Structurally Te Rauawa refurs to the top edge of the hull the part that is always wet. Haast School have a long trip to come tot he workshop. Let's hope the Dunedin weather shines on us.
